Life has been a little rough lately but also experiencing some super beautiful moments too.
From experiencing the worst cycle I’ve ever had and almost sending myself to the hospital, to feeling stuck in life and confused as to why one moment I feel so healthy and together and the next it’s all tears and wtf!
But then between those moments I’ve found such a beautiful community of women through @soberglowup_ from aligned tarot pulls, to finally feeling a sense of community with women that are on the same page and having the best outings! It’s been so lovely!
Life is like a roller coaster, 🎢 sometimes there ups and sometimes there’s down and through it all we’re all trying our best.
Some things I’ve been doing to keep myself grounded include journaling, vedic meditation, walks with no headphones, looking to the Universe for guidance, time off social media and putting my phone away.
Old me would have fallen straight into the hole and spiralled with junk food, alcohol, overthinking and anxiety.
The current me knows how to regulate, reset and manage my emotions.

Heavy or expanded?

Modern medicine teaches us:
You have a symptom therefore, your body needs to be fixed.
Feminine wisdom shows us that our symptoms are showing us where we are disconnected from our bodies and that something in our lives is out of alignment.
I was like you, for many years in my early life I was taught that if something was wrong, I should go to the doctor and outsource my healing to someone else and a medication.
As I grew up, experiencing a spinal injury in the gym, countless trips to doctors for cold/flu/bacterial infections across my early life, and then chronic anxiety/stress & burnout from living out of alignment.
I realised that my body was teaching me to slow down, reconnect back to my inner child, gain clarity of what I really wanted out of life and most of all, stop outsourcing my healing.
Our symptoms are there for a reason.
They are not there to cause harm but to remind you.
This is what I teach in my 1-1 coaching, I show you that everything is there for a reason, and if you listen long enough you’ll be able to hear the whispers of your body calling you home.

“I stopped trying to lose weight… and that’s when my body finally let it go.”
At my heaviest, I sat around 68kg.
But the weight I was carrying was never just physical.
It was stress.
Burnout.
Anxiety.
People-pleasing.
Self-abandonment.
A nervous system stuck in survival mode.
And the wild part?
I genuinely thought I was “healthy.”
I was eating the low-calorie snacks.
The diet foods.
The quick convenience meals.
Running on cortisol.
Speaking to myself like an enemy.
Living in environments that drained me.
My body wasn’t failing me.
It was protecting me.
Everything changed when I stopped obsessing over shrinking myself and started focusing on healing my internal environment instead.
I simplified everything.
Real food.
Meat.
Fruit.
Vegetables.
Minerals.
Sleep.
Sunlight.
Slowing down.
Regulating my nervous system.
But the deepest shift wasn’t food.
It was the way I spoke to myself.
I started using NLP and hypnosis to rewire the beliefs I had around my body, my worth, my identity, and my past.
Because you cannot hate yourself into healing.
And you cannot shame your body into feeling safe.
The more I healed my gut, regulated my stress, removed toxic environments, and learned actual self-love… the more the weight naturally shed.
No punishment.
No obsession.
No extremes.
Just a body finally feeling safe enough to let go.
Your body is constantly listening to your thoughts, your environment, your stress levels, your relationships, and the food you feed it. Health is never just about calories. It’s about the entire internal world you live in every single day.
Sometimes the weight isn’t the problem.
Sometimes it’s the symptom.

The first step to having what you want isn’t getting a meal plan or having the glowing skin or the 8 hours of sleep nights — it’s becoming the version of you who can hold that thing you want.
This model is called the Be, Do, Have model, a manifestation technique taught by Jim Fortin (a great podcast I highly recommend listening to, start at episode 1 as they build on eachother).
It starts by understanding who you will BE by having the thing you want.
Eg someone who has lost weight.
Who is the person who is a size 10 or 10ths lighter? What do they do and how do they feel?
The second phase is DO - this is the part most people miss in other manifestation techniques.
You need to DO the things and take aligned action towards your manifestation.
And the last is HAVE, once you’ve become the person who has lost weight at an emotional level and taken the aligned action by doing the things needed to do, you can then have what you want.
There are some further steps we can take within the BE and DO phases, such as rewiring our values to reflect the thing we want, we can also remove or add in habits that will support our goal in the DO phase.

🌹 The woman with chronic BV
is the woman holding onto something deeper that her body needs to process and release.
For three years, my body was screaming at me in physical discomfort through BV, and I trued everything my naturopath gave me, but nothing was working.
I tried everything and I was exhausted.
The supplements.
The protocols.
The surface-level solutions that were attacking the symptoms but never deeper.
But beneath it all…
What my body was really trying to tell me was that I was ready for something new.
A relationship that drained me.
A life that didn’t feel like mine.
Friendships and environments that kept me small.
